Just watched #blackberry at a sneak preview My verdict: 6 @Nostr Potatoes #NostrPotatoes Blackberry tells the story of the company Research in Motion and the popular handheld of the same name. Anyone who enjoys flashy depictions of IT managers and engineers with lots of clichés will be well entertained. However, the film is not technically precise or cinematically outstanding.

I've tried crossposting to #twitter / #x using https://tweeter.nos.social a few times now. A notes text is thereby rendered using a very ugly font into an image. At least emojis are missing and displayed as crossed boxes. Don't know how languages not written in latin characters will look like. I see Twitter/X does not want to use OpenGraph previews from njump.me. Otherwise it would be easy, https://tweeter.nos.social could just tweet the njump link to the note and everything would look good. My recommendation for that: Either do the image right or just tweet the notes text. If it does not fit into an tweet, post part of the text and then "read on at <njump-link>" Also Nostr account mentions within the text body are translated into njump.me/<pubkey> links. Not a bad idea to start from, but Twitter/X does not allow links with alternate text. So a mention ends up like an awkward link just within my text. Better would be to render a Nostr account mention as "<NostrAccountName> (njump-link)" @rabble

Great played and impressively staged captivates one of these films from start to finish. The musical parts are a bit strange, but that only makes this film a little more special.
