Since quitting Twitter I’ve found myself absentmindedly reaching for my phone and going to where the app icon was.
Pretty scary when you think about it! Whenever I’ve found myself doing that, I’ve read a book until the next demand on my attention.
You can just do things
It looks like the UK’s financial regulator will ban retail investors from using Bitcoin as collateral for a loan.
If they do this (decision due later this year) then I’ll probably have to start looking at where else to live.
The infantilisation of the public by the state is intensely frustrating
