The problem with Bitcoin is that it forces you to accept that you were either wrong or ignorant about how money works. I hear people dismiss money as ‘made-up’ and therefore not worthy of serious consideration. In a hyper-financialized system where you must swim or die, being wrong is often catastrophic. Therefore the incentive to study Bitcoin and consider how wrong you were is non-existent
