I generally don't like Vox's leaning towards "progressive" viewpoints on climate change. However, this piece exposes the hypocrisy of some environmental organizations, like #WWF, who are selling out their mission to protect the planet by partnering with the meat industry. These groups are watering down their message about the massive environmental damage caused by #meat production, all to keep their corporate donors happy. It’s a blatant betrayal of their supposed commitment to fighting climate change. Instead of confronting one of the biggest contributors to global warming, they’re caving to industry pressure, which undermines any real progress in addressing the climate crisis.
I really want to use Signal and SimpleX as my daily drivers, but no one around me uses them. Everyone's on iMessage, Teams, WhatsApp, or Telegram. Sigh.
Today, 32 GB of RAM was not enough for me to process some multidimensional cell culture images. Is Paperspace good for scaling, or is there another platform you would recommend?"
