You understand how bad the state of our society is, when you see people sharing tips on how to prepare for homelessness via Youtube comments.

All of this technology and "progress" for what exactly? For the possibility to get tips on homelessness without having to leave the home. Wow, technology really brought us far, didnt it?
P.S. Nothing against David, I like this guy π
One of the absolutely worst feelings of my life must be showing strangers (Potential future tenants) my living room, the room I lived in for over 10 years, laughed in, ...cried in, produced music in, programmed countless hours in, and dreamt in, without even having a future place myself. It feels like the last bit of hope for a better life, or atleast for a future worth living, is getting sucked straight of my soul.
And its hard, like really really hard to not loose the rest of my trust in humanity these days π.
There are however few bright stars out there, and they seem to shine way brighter during these dark nights βΊοΈ!
I'll try to keep you guys updated if/when I figure out how to live through April.
In german we have a saying "Vogel friss oder stirb" - "Bird you gotta eat the food we share with you, or you gonna die". Basically means that you must accept whatever food you get, if you are in harsh situations.
Statists like to say it to me these days, and they mean: "Get help from big brother or die"
Today I came up with the perfect counter π: "You can eat that rat poison yourself."
So far the reactions have been kinda as expected.
How dare you say like, the truth π€!

This just was the last straw. I am done with Xwitter and my 3000 followers there who are too blind to see that they are getting f-ed by Elon.

In my dreams, humans work together to create a beautiful world.
Funny, because it must've already been a beautiful world, before us.
But still, GM friends πββοΈ
Something I love about languages is how they sometimes include society-critical thoughts, e.g.
Our society is performance oriented. But the word "performance" is not only about "hard efrective work", it's about acting, like in a theatre / show.
And if anything, our society is especially a theatre, a friggin clown show π.
If you think that Switzerland is a rich country, watch this:
Help
In the eyes of an anarchist: You are important and we love you, you can sleep on our couch!
In the eyes of everyone else: You are important and we love you, you must ask an institution for help!
Socialism
Everyone: Tries to help people in need, by finding someone else to help them
Nobody: Actually helps them for real

The more you trust in LLM, the less I trust in the stability of your project π.
Me: Lets assume that we all are adults in this room for a second, okay?
Politicians: No, only if you show your ID π€
Who needs strange ideas like freedom of speech, privacy, property rights, the right to physical integrity, and human rights when you can feel safe from all Covid carriers and other terrorists in your neighborhood and in group chats instead!

Christian: Recites something from the bible.
Me: Soo.. the meaning of what you just said is basically 2+2=5 π€.
Christian: No, you must listen more closely, it's 2+3=6 π€!

Funny fact: more satellites orbit the planet, than there are highly used foss projects, that are sustainable thanks to volunteer donations.

Me before the era of LLMs: π₯³β€οΈπͺππ»
Me in the era of LLMs: Okay, but have you tested, if it like atleast still launches?
Honestly this whole "doing everything with LLMs"-thing is such a great example of human hubris, opportunism and lazyness π.
"Sorry we cannot help you, our help would not be a real solution for your problems, better go live under a bridge or so."
German Interview with Andreas Thiel. He is and was one of the few known swiss artists and philosophers who openly spoke out against the Covid totalitarianism.
Etatists believe that coercion is right and necessary. That's maybe the reason why they prefer having to pay for a product than to use free software and donate voluntarely. Having to pay confirms their world view.
