Topped with a drizzle of delicious Dillwyn Wildflower honey from Bee Happy Farms, sumac, and fresh strawberries. I used the tea set I made to brew charcoal-roasted oolong in gongfu style! As predicted, this did improve the strongly smoky flavor in my opinion. An interesting coconut flavor note appeared! After a rinse steep for the tea pets, the first real steep was the best. I think I let the second steep go a little long and it was kinda bitter. I’ll learn with practice!
