I got this idea to learn how to use colored pencils. And uhh. Light and shadow isn't too hard, but add color to the mix... I haven't trained myself to observe colors e.g. what color is the sky? Blue. That's usually true. But what shade of blue?

Finished building one side of the scene. Now I have to build the opposite one. FYI I'm making an animation based on one of my favorite toys. I started by making blocks to build the mountain with. Then I rendered it as an image that can wrap around a sphere(decreases render time as there's less geometry). After that was a long slog of modelling, shading and staring at reference pictures. And after a total of five days, it's finally done. #growNostr #3Dmodel #blender
