Update on #meshtastic solar node : It lasted a full month fine with an average charge of 84% on a tiny 2000mAh battery. Seems to have gotten a few ounces of rain/salt water from Old San Juan thru the badly sealed solar panel cable insertion hole. Some parts are salvageable. So tomorrow we’ll install another one. (better sealed)

We submitted a feature request to the #meshtastic Android app client to enable a toggle of text to QR. Not a developer here so if anyone have suggestions or comments feel free. Releasing a video soon to show why this could be a good first step.

We also use ProtonMail’s SMTP, so if you have a PM email, email communicarion will be encrypted in transit and at rest. Trying to jumpstart the circular economy down here in 🇵🇷. More merchants online and IRL soon.
