Rabbits on ice, dug into some sweet potatoes, and got garlic in the ground. Best time of the year.

The most underrated job on any project is the gopher. Having someone to go for this and go for that is invaluable. Long live the gopher!

Can’t wait for the house to finally be back together so I can pull this in the carport (workshop) and get it running again. Another year of missed hay rides. Evenings like this get the cravings going.

Best part of rebuilding is doing whatever you want. Kids want a hidey hole.. boom. Hidey hole.
A long time coming.. finally erasing Helene. Foundation and brick work took some time. Stick work is much easier.
Some sunsets are better than others. For me.. this time of year.. I particularly enjoy the swooping bats (hard to catch those buggers in a pic though).
Evening chores got a moody vibe. SC had a storm magnet installed or something. So excited for the coming TS/hurricane. The last one going so well for us and all. 🤪

As a bonus.. stuff it full of pine and oak leaves for a nice bug repellant.
