Typically, I avoid all social media, local/national news sources, all tv, and all radio. My primary tool for sourcing current events and world happenings was a few select podcasts and face to face interactions. Through such a podcast, I learned of Nostr. I decided to give it a go. My intention was to source current events and happenings per my usual silent practices.. but, I ended up (quite out of character) sharing a bit of myself, leaving a few comments here and there on other’s notes, generally engaging in “social media” practices. If I’m being honest with myself, I don’t feel better off for it. Additionally, the experience of filtering and searching the daily content for my original purposes (current events and world happening) has led to more and more frequent absences on my part. Interestingly enough.. here I am sharing a bit of myself again after another fatiguing scroll.

We grow these little green hand plates every year. You can put just about anything in them.. best part is they’re edible if you like that sorta thing and entirely compostable if you don’t.
