Lots of discussion about gold lately. But gold won't return as the primary sound money. Only Bitcoin can fill that role.
Our global economy runs on fiat currency rails that deliver critical properties for modern commerce:
✅ Instant settlement
✅ Micro-divisibility
✅ Near frictionless transferability
✅ Programmability
Reverting to gold would strip away decades of efficiency gains in trade, payments, and financial innovation.
Bitcoin is the only solution: it matches fiat's transactional advantages with the advantages of sound money.
The future isn’t gold. It’s Bitcoin: programmable sound money.
Anyone else pitching coding agents against each other?
1. Me to Codex: "Please take a look at the repository. The frontend unit tests on Github are failing when I push a PR. Claude is failing to solve the issue, maybe you can do better:
2. Codex fixes the issue.
3. Me to Claude: "OpenAI codex fixed the test issue that you could not fix. Try to do better next time or I will have to replace you."
The International Alliance for Responsible Drinking wants you to know that if you exercise, you will reduce the negative impact of drinking and that “moderate drinking can be part of a balanced diet “ 🤡
How much did they pay Fox News for this piece?
Very weird experience at a large regal movie theater.
4 screens for Taylor Swift, 1 for a rerun of Spider man and 1 for a re run of Avatar. Just a few screens with new movies.
It looks like Hollywood has run out of juice….
At the movie theater with my son for his birthday and I’m dutifully reminded of why I don’t go to the movies.
$18 ticket x 2
$11 popcorn
$9 drink
Plus taxes
Total $60
Today was my first day at the Founder in Residence program at Seattle Foundations!
Met other founders, and discovered a potential partnership for Synvya with another startup in the program.
I’m confident the next 6 months will accelerate and solidify the chances of @Synvya being successful at delivering the rails for AI commerce over Nostr.
