So used to a swing mooring where you turn into the wind that I forgot what it's like to be moored fore and aft and end up corkscrewing as you're hit by wind and swell 😂 really rather soothing tbh

The old bill, across the UK, have shared this message to people and I have some concerns. Primarily, they advise that you should Run. Don't try to surrender or negotiate. They actually say this. So what kind of attacks might lead to people considering surrendering or negotiating? And if a situation is going to be that bad, why do they not suggest that you consider attacking? Instead they say run, hide, tell. But don't tell the old bill till it's safe to do so. So after the terrorists have murdered everyone, including you?

Spent some time on the boat today - you might think it sounds great, but while it's nice and warm in town it's bloody freezing on the beach. No pics because my hands were like icicles.

Day 3 of antibiotics. I now realise just how rough I've been as symptoms begin to ease. I didnt realise what I was putting up with as it grew gradually and it was tough to tell, day by day. Week by week, however... Anyway. On the mend now. No painkillers for 24 hours. 🥳🥳🥳

GM #nostr folks it's Sunday 🥳 Stopping for breakfast, then off to church, then to the boat where I plan to work but will probably end up sitting and chilling out 😂 The Dr did recommend vit D, so technically it'll be medicinal chilling out 😎

Just stopped over at twitter (still the go to for world events at this time) and saw a thread or two where people were complaining about lack of engagement recently. Got me to wondering; I get more engagement here, by far. On twitter I rarely post. On FB, where I actually know people in meatspace too, I get basically nothing. At least this place doesn't feel like shouting into the void, but none of us are owned engagement, be it comments, reactions, zaps or reposts. I couldn't imagine complaining about it.

Today didn't go the way I expected. Preparing to go to the fiat mine and got an appointment at the Drs... Anyway, the long and the short of it, I apparently have an infection in the intestinal region. So no C 🥳🥳🥳 However, I've been advised to survive on a clear water diet and soup for the next week while I'm on antibiotics. Avoid meat, avoid veg, so... Yeah. Not sure how this is going to go, tbh.
