Today didn't go the way I expected. Preparing to go to the fiat mine and got an appointment at the Drs... Anyway, the long and the short of it, I apparently have an infection in the intestinal region. So no C 🥳🥳🥳 However, I've been advised to survive on a clear water diet and soup for the next week while I'm on antibiotics. Avoid meat, avoid veg, so... Yeah. Not sure how this is going to go, tbh.

Moral dilemma for me here. As a rule, I'm against the initiation of force which basically underpins all legislation. However... I'm also aware of the psychological manipulation that went in to convincing people that smoking was a good thing. It was a cleverly laid multigenerational trap and the people behind it weren't good people. So I find myself in the unusual position of supporting the state on something. My brain hurts.

GM #nostr - damn, imagine realising you could have seen the 90s but you were held back till now 😂

I'm not making it a publicly available tool yet, but I've downloaded my new app and installed it from github, so I know it's working. It's just buggy AF and not doing all the things it needs to do yet. Still, progress. It's a nostr based family tree app, I'll add more details later, but essentially when it does what it's meant to, families will be able to share family information amongst eachother, merge known data and import data from paid sites like Ancestry. Although it's not fully functional yet, I'm well happy with what I've done so far :)

Been watching the baby Yoda show. I don't enjoy everything that Disney has done, but this definitely amuses me.

Just spent the last couple of hours trying to compile and push my first ever app through github. Installed it, got an error, now chasing down the bugs. There's simply no way I'd figure this out without AI. What's taken me a few weeks of effort here and there would have taken me at least 2 or 3 years to figure out in the old way.

Just saw an advert on the tellybox for dog food. They linked their brand to 'lower greenhouse gas emissions'. This is after multiple propaganda pieces recently suggesting pets cause bad weather and suggesting we keep too many dogs. The psychological warfare is pissing me off.
