GM #nostr - back at the fiat mine, without my glasses. And a still slightly injured back. And it's pissing down. Giving more thought to yesterday's post about the UK government's attacks on privacy. All telecommunications are likely to be impacted. I said months ago that WhatsApp etc had already bent the knee - obvious when Apple pulled their privacy service from the UK after demands were made, but none of the others did. What I wonder is, how secure will NIP17 DMs be? We really need to know how they're implementing this.

Updated Plume. Users will now see recommended apps appearing in their feed, so there's a discovery tab for finding the other stuff content after every 10 notes, then starting from note 5, every ten there'll be a recommended app. Rising tides lift all boats.

I'm going to make some more follow packs for Plume today, or soon - they'll always show first when loading follow packs within the site, deliberately. I'd like to put a few together based on interests, namely; Crafting Fishing Boating Travelling Cooking Can you recommend people for any of those? I'll add more later, but I'm going to start trying to bring people in soon so I want to get this right. Also, going to update the Plume feed to show other nostr apps after every so many posts. As it is, after every 10 posts, a discovery carousel is injected, showing a random selection of the other stuff nostr users do.
