A theological question for #Christian #nostr - I started reading the bible again for the first time in many years a few months back. I kept promising myself I was going to go back to church, but every week I'd find an excuse not to. A few weeks ago I did. The following week I worked Sunday, the week after, I went to another church. I've been back to that one and I have a good feeling about it. I'm learning. Bit by bit. But my question is this; I understand the argument that God's grace is a gift and a gift can not be earned, or it becomes transactional in nature. However, a counter argument I've heard is that accepting grace without good works is meaningless and that makes sense too. How to reconcile this?

GM #nostr - I've not been around much recently. There's been some very sad family issues, health issues and a lot going on. I've not really felt the vibe which I usually see here, so I've not inflicted myself on others. Also, the general user experience I get since the #Amethyst update. I've been trying to load my feed for over 5 minutes amd the out put is a post from 5 minutes ago, one from 12 minutes ago and one from over 20 minutes ago. Completely broken. It's no longer a simple case of opening the app and seeing what's happening. Also can't upload images to illustrate what I'm seeing.

Experimented with Claude AI last night to create a tool thatll save a mate at least 2 hours effort per day. Gonna test it and refine it tomorrow. So far I really enjoyed how quickly it got to work and considered options from my prompts - as part of the data scraping part of the task Claude identified issues with a site I'd asked it to use, suggested an alternative and implemented it. Bloody good stuff.
