The MOMEM is not a museum - at least not in the classical sense. It is a contemporary centre for art and culture, a place rooted firmly in the present moment. An environment that sharpens our awareness of the electronic dimensions of modern life: sound, fashion, instruments, apps, club culture, spatial design, media environments, interaction. Much of this world is shaped by a single source: electronic music. A journey from its origins to the present day and far into the future - and to the global places where this culture has evolved. At the heart of this journey stands Frankfurt | A city that witnessed electronic music

image SATURDAY, October 17, 1998. Junghofstrasse, Frankfurt. One day. One weekend. A moment that still resonates today. The OMEN, our beloved OMEN, closed its doors forever that weekend with a legendary closing party. An era came to an end. But the story was far from over. Because the OMEN lives on-in the music, in the memories, and in an electronic culture that continues to shape generations to this day. That's exactly why we're returning. With OMEN CONTINUUM, we're commemorating this special moment and bringing the spirit of the OMEN back to life for one night. And for this, we've once again put together a very special lineup: FRANK LORBER, longtime OMEN resident and one of the defining figures in Frankfurt’s club history. And as a special guest: DER DRITTE RAUM (LIVE) A name inextricably linked to the history of electronic music - and a live act that has stood for uncompromising electronic energy for decades. A night for OMEN. A night for Frankfurt. A night for everyone who was there-and for everyone who wants to know what it meant back then. 28 years after the closing. The story continues. image #OMEN #ElectronicMusic #ClubCulture #ElectronicCulture #Frankfurt

image MILESTONES - FAVOURITE CLUBTRACKS 1985-2020 - PERMANENT EXHIBITION The permanent exhibition "MILESTONES - Favourite Club Tracks 1985 - 2020" is all about the most important tracks in electronic music since 1985 that have made people dance. We invited more than 50 DJs from over 20 nations on 6 continents to submit their top 20 favourite electronic music tracks. These personal TOP 20 of the participating DJs resulted in the "MILESTONES - Favourite Club Tracks 1985 - 2020", which are the focus of the exhibition of the same name. Selector of the MILESTONES were: Adiel, Ata, Anfisa Letyago, Anja Schneider, Arjun Vargale, BlancaH, Carl Craig, CC:Disco, Chris Liebing, Claude Vonstroke, Dax J, Dubfire, Ecilo, Gregor Tresher, Hell, Jay Lumen, Karotte, Ken Isihii, Kölsch, Konstantin Sibold, Laurent Garnier, Luciano, Michial Bibi, Miss Djax, Miss Kittin, Monika Kruse, Pan-Pot, Paula Temple, Purple Disco Machine, Red Axes, Roger Sanchez, Sam Divine, Sam Paganini, Shanti Celeste, Solomun, Talla 2XLC, Terrence Fixmer, Tiefschwarz, Victor Ruiz The exhibition "MILESTONES - Favourite Club Tracks 1985 - 2020" brings the energy, power and creativity of these tracks to life in the museum, which has been transformed into a club. A visit to the exhibition becomes a musical journey between house, trance and techno, making it difficult to stand still. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our partners and sponsors - in addition to the Wüstenrot Foundation, the exhibition was also supported by Mainova AG, Frankfurter Sparkassen-Stiftung, Scape Consulting, Adam Hall and FRAPORT AG. image More than 50 photographs of dancers from all over the world, presented on oversized screens (in collaboration with SAMSUNG), remind us that modern electronic music is mostly about dancing. On display are works by over a dozen photo artists, each capturing the ecstasy, passion, energy and joie de vivre of dancing in their own unique way. On show are works by Tilman Brembs, Simon Burstall, Sophie Garcia, Daniel Herrmann, I am Johannes, Sascha Lüönd, Karl Magee, Soulla Petrou and Wesley Triber. In this way, the exhibition will not only be an experience for long-time fans of electronic music, but will also reach people who have previously only known clubs and clubbing from the media. The exhibition aims to make the uniqueness of electronic music tangible for all visitors. In the Maschine Room, a selection of formative drum machines, synthesisers and samplers are on display, with which a large part of the MILESTONES was produced, and in the Electronic Classroom, visitors become producers themselves. image GET YOUR TICKETS!

The MOMEM is not a museum - not in any classical sense. It is a living cultural engine, a pulse in the present moment. A space that awakens the electronic senses of modern life: sound as vibration, fashion as identity, instruments as ritual objects, apps as portals, club culture as collective memory, spaces as resonant chambers, media environments as immersive worlds, interaction as the spark between human and machine. All of it emerges from one primordial source: electronic music. A continuum stretching from the first machines to the future yet unwritten - a constellation of global scenes, rituals, nights, and frequencies. And at the centre of this constellation stands Frankfurt. A city whose techno spirit is not heritage but force - a place where sound became myth, where clubs became temples, and where generations shaped a culture that still vibrates through every room of the MOMEM. image
