Another week is starting, but the feeling is a bit different this time. All this confusion with X here in Brazil has made me think a lot about how controlled we are, and my desire to be free is stronger than ever. It’s always been there, latent, but now it seems to have gained strength and, most importantly, urgency! Even though I love my job and am fully aware that I’m in an excellent company, earning a very good salary, I’m feeling the urgency to push my side projects so that I don’t rely solely on my salary. My goal is to reach a point where I work for other companies by choice and not out of necessity anymore. To me, that’s what being rich means! Being able to choose the coolest projects to invest my time in, without bills being the main motivator! Have a great week, friends from NOSTR! Let’s do this!

I’ve been working in web development for almost 30 years. I started my career working for other companies, and after some time, I thought it would be a good idea to start my own business. For over 15 years, I was an entrepreneur, but I never really made any real money with my company. Eventually, I had to accept defeat and return to the job market as an employee again. And why all this? Because I never knew how to sell my work. I’m not a good businessman, nor a good salesperson. I’m definitely not a good businessperson! Now, after a lot of trial and error, I’ve managed to learn a few things and I take on independent projects, freelances, but I still work for a big company that guarantees my paycheck every month. Self-awareness is so important! This is what I should have done from the beginning: worked in big companies, built a network, improved technically and financially, and tested the market on the side without risking everything else.

I always thought coffee didn't affect me, but I realized I was completely wrong about that. The fact is, during the week, I drink A LOT of coffee at the office, and the day goes by normally; I don't feel anything different. But on weekends, when I don't make a cup of coffee in the morning (out of sheer laziness), I spend the whole day feeling unmotivated, sleepy, and wanting to crawl into bed and sleep until the next day. Yeah... it looks like coffee not only affects me, but I'm already addicted to it! #coffee #addiction

No matter what field you’re in, what really brings success to your career is your ability and competence in doing business and handling money. In fact, this works even for those who don’t have any other skills besides negotiating well and knowing how to sell. That’s definitely the secret to success!
