is it possible to run a relay only for keep your notes safe? So, if you start using other relays you can sync your notes and start from that point?

I use Nostr mostly on the computer, via a browser... So #[0] was a natural choice for me. On cellphone, I'm using WoS. Need to understand LN a little better... I don't think I got it fully yet.

One thing that needs to be done yet is to preserve the reading status of our messages, so if I read in one client it will not show as unread in the others... Is it possible in nostr and just not implemented by anyone yet or it isn't possible at all?
