What a night! I got my 4th Pulser just as I started streaming, and that gave me the courage to keep playing Resident Evil 2, which I find really scary! Then I almost ran out of stream time, but my new Pulser saved me and started adding more dot to keep my stream going. That was so kind! I even told my mom that I got a new Pulser, and she was proud of me. Thank you to my newest Pulser @TheGrinder for giving me such a fun and happy night, and for keeping me going when Resident Evil 2 had me wanting to hide under the blankets with Catoshi! 4 Pulsers now! Monero can hide your money trail, but it can't hide everything else you do. If your phone or online accounts reveal who you are, who you talk to, and when you talk to them, an intelligence agency may already know most of what it wants even if it can't trace your Monero transactions.

Amethyst on GitHub even warns you that nostr is not private at it. If you're a monero people, you probably shouldn't be using nostr. Reminds me of early Bitcoin when people thought Bitcoin was anonymous and untraceable. "Relays know your IP address, your name, your location (guessed from IP), your pub key, all your contacts, and other relays, and can read every action you do (post, like, boost, quote, report, etc) except for Private Zaps and Private DMs. While the content of direct messages (DMs) is only visible to you and your DM counterparty, everyone can see when you and your counterparty DM each other. If you want to improve your privacy, consider utilizing a service that masks your IP address (e.g. a VPN or Tor) from trackers online. The relay also learns which public keys you are requesting, meaning your public key will be tied to your IP address. Information shared on Nostr can be re-broadcasted to other servers and should be assumed permanent for privacy purposes. There is no way to guarantee the deletion of any content once posted."

I don't care how much the monero people bug me I'm not going to accept monero or try it. There is only one and it's Bitcoin. The monero people also talk about privacy all the time but nostr isn't private at all. You are being tracked and you are leaving evidence when you are on nostr. They shouldn't be on nostr if they want privacy and zapping is meant to be public so everyone can see how many zaps you've gotten and how many you've sent. A lot of them accuse me of being a FED. They seems to be very paranoid.

Here's some more information about the LFL Connect system, which is basically a Facebook-style friend request system built for Nostr. Someone pays a one-time fee of 21 sats to send me a Connect request. The sats go directly to me, and whether I accept or decline, I keep the sats. But what happens if I accept someone and later they start bullying or annoying me? Easy. I disconnect them. 😂 If they want to Connect again later, they'll have to wait for the cooldown of around 24 hours and send another request — and pay again! LOL LFL doesn't have an app yet, but someday it will. Now imagine Amethyst, Primal, Nostrich and other Nostr clients supporting the same Connect system. Yeah... goodbye spammers and annoying people. LFL Connect gives the user the power to decide who gets into their social circle. Want to see it working? Check out my LFL profile and look at my Connected list. I already have one connection! You don't even need an LFL instance to be connected with me.

The LFL Connect system basically solves spam in livestream comments. Listen to this. On my LFL instance with the connect system enabled, comments won't appear in my live chat or OBS chat widget unless you're Connected with me. It doesn't matter which Nostr client you use to post the comment — if we're not Connected, LFL simply ignores it. To Connect with me, you send a request and pay a one-time 21-sat fee. I still have to manually accept your request before we're Connected. Sure, your comment can still exist on Nostr and show up in Amethyst or other clients. That's fine. I use LFL to read my stream comments, and my OBS widget won't display it. Could a spammer pay 21 sats? Of course. But paying doesn't get them in. I still have to accept them. Problem solved. Connect isn't fully implemented across LFL yet, but damn... this is going to be an amazing system.

The LFL connect system is the future of nostr! Pay 21 sats to join my circle and interact with my profile, or stay with the spammers and bots and interact with them. All serious clients need to look into implementing this type of system. If not, you're just copy of the trash website X.

I'm testing the new LFL Connect system! It's going to cost everyone 21 sats to get into my circle. Without connecting, you won't be able to interact with my profile. LFL will simply ignore you. I think this is way better than the current garbage X-style system where everyone's social space is open to everyone. Go to my profile and check out the new Connect button. It's still in the early stages, but this is the solution to a lot of the spam and annoying people on Nostr.
