I've been exposing El Salvador since 2021, because that's when they announced Bitcoin City, Bitcoin as legal tender and other suspicious activities. I saw through their lies right away. Typical government propaganda. You can still move there to get the experience of living in a 3rd world country but don't move there because you heard it's a Bitcoin paradise. to this day, Bitcoin City still hasn't been built.

Here is two videos about El Salvador, still very run down, which is excepted but I wanted to show others the truth and not the lies that their government is saying that it's Bitcoin country because it's not and to expose the poor living conditions that many still live in and not the fancy surfing videos that some Bitcoiners post or the expensive real estate they want you to buy. Why do you think most Bitcoiners down there don't talk about running or setting up a business down there? Don't fall for their lies. one thing I really hate about 3rd world countries is that they never post their prices on their small businesses/ street vendors, and they want cash which is so annoying because we live in a digital world, #elsalvador

at this rate if Visa and MasterCard adopt Bitcoin/Crypto payments with their credit cards via companies, developed countries will become "Bitcoin countries" long before El Salvador. El Salvador still has a long way to go before it's ever a Bitcoin country considering the majority of their businesses still uses cash and not POS terminals and their infrastructure is way behind too. It's expected but my issue is the government tried to hide that fact and made others think the whole country accepts Bitcoin when in fact it was a lie.

does this mean we can start recommending primal now? I just upgraded primal and I finally have a lightning wallet without the dumb kyc information they wanted in the first version that I refused to give them. I'll have to keep testing primal to see if I can start recommend primal to normies. View quoted note →

I'm starting to dislike nostr because it's too much like X, facebook system & UI is better, except facebook is centralized which a deal breaker so it sucks too

trust social is so annoying too because it's exactly like X except the UI is worse. The only reason I'm there is too see what my hero Trump is saying. but everything is basically about politics which is annoying.

when I first joined facebook we added anyone we could find because it was empty but after our friends joined we started deleting all the people we originally added, I will delete most of you once our friends start joining nostr

Nostr needs a follow/friend request feature so I can gate my profile and keep the losers away. Facebook has the ability to make profiles public or personal. Not everyone wants their profiles public. This is why Facebook is winning.

Nostr is too much like X X is built for information (what is happening?), but Facebook is built for connection (who is doing what?). Most people value their personal connections more than global information, which is why the "Friend Request" model continues to win the numbers game.

The Reality: Most of the world doesn't care about "decentralization" or "cryptographic keys." They care about convenience. As long as Nostr feels like a "builder’s project," it won't hit the billions

If El Salvador wants to reach the level of "global hub" that Dubai has, it has to be more English. You can offer all the tax breaks and Bitcoin incentives in the world, but if the language is a barrier, you’re just building a walled garden. In Dubai, English is the default setting for everything from high-court law to ordering a coffee. For El Salvador to truly scale, it can't just be a "Bitcoin experiment", it has to become a place where a global citizen can land, trade, and build without needing a translator for every basic task. Until English is the second nature of the country, it’s going to struggle to attract the massive wave of talent that made places like Dubai or Singapore world leaders.

If El Salvador was an English-speaking country, the number of Bitcoiners moving there and staying there would almost certainly be much higher. I don't want to hire a translator for everything I do. I can even imagine trying to start and run a business in a non-english country.

Why haven't any Bitcoiners gone to Belize to investigate the country? their official language is English. It's seem to me the majority the Bitcoiners speak English on nostr. We need to take over Belize so we don't have to learn a new language.

It will be up to the Bitcoiners to repopulate the world, unfortunately there isn't that many Bitcoiners. Africa isn't having that birth crisis tho, So the future belongs to Africans. They will have to repopulate the world.

Nearly 1 in 4 Canadian women in their 40s don’t have kids: StatCan My opinion : It's not the women or men's fault. Canada is a dying country that has been destroyed by the communist government. Unfortunately I can't see this getting any better anytime soon and it's not just Canada that has been destroyed by the communists.

Businesses in El Salvador and the world will end up accepting Bitcoin through Visa and Mastercard long before they ever touch 'straight' Bitcoin. Fair businesses are barely surviving so they don't have the time to learn Bitcoin and worse they can't deal with the ups and downs of Bitcoin since that small amount of money they made is needed for them to eat. At that point, why live in El Salvador? You will have many options in other countries.

I know we all wanted to see the world go full Bitcoin only but it's not going to happen anytime soon, El Salvador even tried but failed. There is just not enough Bitcoiners in the world and the fiat system is just way too dominant still. With Mastercard jumping in what’s will happen is eventually banks will just swap out the plumbing. The normies will just keep looking at the same digits in their app or bank account, but eventually, Visa and the banks will settle those transactions in Bitcoin, crypto, stablecoins behind the scenes. By the time it’s "all Bitcoin" the average person won't even realize the switch ever happened. Still far away from all Bitcoin tho.
