This Canadian lady who moved to El Salvador with her family has actual decent content on her YouTube channel then most other Bitcoiners in El Salvador. From what I understand she moved there because she was tired of communist Canada. She even put her children in the El Salvador government schools which requires them to learn Spanish. I think that's the worst thing about El Salvador, that it's Spanish. Bitcoiners there should just start their own English schools. Every time I try to learn programming or do some casual coding, I keep falling asleep, even though I have tons of cool ideas I want to bring to life. I’m starting to think coding isn’t for me. I don’t think I’ve ever fallen asleep while learning how to make a sandwich—or actually making one, for that matter. #marandcatoshi

My idea for decentralizing the Zap Stream website means that you won't be sending your stream viewers to the Zap Stream website or any other centralized platform. Instead, you'll direct them to your personal website. This approach makes your website more powerful, viewers spending time there may even be encouraged to buy something from your store. I came up with this idea because Zap Stream has reliability issues. When their servers go down, all streams go offline. However, with my front-end software concept, it’s so decentralized that if one stream goes down, the rest can continue without disruption. Is this a threat to Zap Stream? Not really. My front-end software still uses Zap Stream’s backend software, and Zap Stream allows anyone to install that backend. This means the backend could be hosted on different servers, so if one server goes down, my software would simply connect to a different backend with minimal disruption. In my screenshot you can see when I click on the zap stream website it gives me a white screen. That's a zap stream issue. On the right side is my concept, you would be sending your viewers to your personal website. This is complete decentralization. See my website for a concept.

In the future, we won't need Zap Stream as the front end anymore. Viewers will be able to go directly to a streamer's personal website to watch the stream and send zaps there. So, where will they discover new streamers? On their personal websites as well. Streamers will still need to connect their stream to the Zap Stream backend but never have to visit the zap stream backend website either. This shift will make Nostr streaming even more decentralized. We won't have to rely on visiting Zap Stream anymore. I have nothing against Zap Stream itself, but I've noticed that when it goes down, viewers can’t access streams because viewing is centralized on Zap Stream. I've been vibe-coding this concept. Maybe someone can perfect it and create it because I'm not a developer and I haven't been able to get the chat working as a sidebar. and here is another idea.. we can add another tab called videos and scrape the videos from their npub so all their videos will be there and we can zap them. We won't need YouTube either. See my website for a demo.

We need to normalize wearing life jackets while swimming in the ocean, at resorts, and in most aquatic environments. Recently, I visited the ocean at a resort, where I saw many tourists, including families with young children, swimming in the ocean. For many, this may be their first time in open water, yet no one suggests wearing a life jacket. Swimming in the ocean is dangerous. Sadly, some people go on vacation and return with the heartbreaking loss of a loved one. Life jackets save lives. Even if you’re a strong swimmer, a life jacket could be the difference between life and death in situations like rip tides or unforeseen accidents.
