I do think they are more likely to misattribute. Their technique relies on users doing an obviously stupid thing, and smart users will deliberately subvert that by making their end balances match other (presumably innocent) users of the mix.

This case is more extreme than most, but cases with much more sympathetic facts are coming (I.e. unintentional miscarriage). If you are using a major service, what you say, when you say it, and where can and will be used against you. Even the encrypted messengers only really protect against the first one. Use metadata protecting tech when you can. #privacy
