you would think that writing more code would make a better piece of software but actually, it's the opposite: the less work your software performs, the better it is. when computers have to do a lot of work, they heat up and fans spin up and heatsinks clog, etc.

things i think are true despite what people politely say:
10 = child
20 = young
30 = not young anymore
40+ = you're old
being a lady does not make you interesting. if guys seem to think ladies are interesting, that's their dicks talking. try being 40 and a lady and see how many guys are keen on knowing you...
i'm finding that i mostly like guys. i'm a guy. no surprise there. remember being like 10 and hating cooties? i think we might've been onto something there. i'm just not feeling much love for women as actual people. people who say "i love women" are also the sort of person who is chasing skirts.
the mental model i have adopted for likes, reposts and zaps is as follows:
like = good
repost = very good
zap = excellent
on a 5-point scale:
like = 3
repost = 4
zap = 5
