I have zero sympathy for the republicans like Donald Trump Jr. migrating to #threads and bitching about censorship. I would love to see politicians and figures from all sides come to #nostr. You’re obviously unwelcome. When do you become complicit? Screenshot from Twitter, not my own.

Put my money where my mouth is and just deleted my #instagram and #threads. Kept my Facebook open this long for development with Facebook Pixel and the SEO tools. Deleted #Facebook now, too. Seeing threads has renewed my passion for decentralization, privacy and security. I’m not convinced it will be #nostr but it’s a good start.

I can’t help get the feeling that I’m the product while using #threads. I know it’s not some massive revelation, but it’s just so obvious there? Being tied to my instagram account makes it so much worse. Being involved in the open source space, the fediverse, bitcoin, has completely ruined me for products like #threads. When I was 17 I would have bought in immediately, but now I can’t get myself too. @jb55 made a good point - we need to all delete these apps and stop normalizing the corporate voyeurism. I don’t know how anyone can trust Facebook. I also have a hard time understanding how anyone can trust their content being associated with themself and their government name.

#Damus ui feels so good since the last update. I love that the text on a post is smaller. Unless I’m crazy? Haha. So excited for the continued development of this platform.

This seems like a promising concept. I am excited to see what the #Zed team comes up with. It’s amazing how different native #Mac applications feel compared to electron based applications. If anyone is interested in beta testing Zed they should. They’ve got a lot of promising features on the way.

#[0]​ there are quite a few issues with onboarding to Damus when bringing my own keys. In order to follow you I had to go into coracle.social and manually add myself to the Damus relays. When I followed you it would say “Unfollowing” and then I would click it again and it would say “Following”. The following never went away, and my profile never updated that I was following you. Somehow I was still able to post and people would see it, but I never saw any posts in the application or that I was connected to any relays. When I logged into coracle it showed that I had no relays on my account. It showed me I had 4 relays when I logged into Damus. Just a heads up. Was able to remedy it by adding relays on coracle. #Damus is working great now.
