Today was a mostly good day! I’m up past my bedtime.

I’m feeling particularly emo today l, undoubtedly because of that ALS walk with my family today. If you couldn’t tell. 😂 I’ve got a busy day, too. I’m getting back together with my family then going to a concert later.

I legitimately love Nostr. The people I interact with here don't think I'm weird for experimenting with what I eat, what I consume, how I process thoughts and emotions, etc. You're insightful, helpful, inspiring, and kind. You get it. You're all trying to be the person you than you can be, too. The average person I interact with IRL seems like they're just operating on autopilot, not thinking about their health or the world around them. In fact, they'll get defensive if you ever talk about what you're trying to do for yourself. Even the people on Twitter or Facebook (I'm not on either platform anymore) largely seem like the sheeple IRL people I mentioned before. We've got something special here, people. Let's keep it weird and awesome.

Today is 26 days since I quit weed. I told myself that after 30 days, I want to do an elimination diet for a while. I just didn’t want to try to cut out too many things all at once. That’s a recipe for failure in my experience.

The trending posts I see on Primal are always the same people it seems. Good for them, I guess.

My family and I are participating in an ALS fundraising walk this morning in honor of our mother who succumbed to the disease in April of 2021. Unless a cure is found l, my brother will eventually get it as well. I might too, but I haven’t had the genetic testing done. I’d rather not know.
