You got to be crazy, you gotta have a real need
You gotta sleep on your toes and when you're on the streets
You gotta be able to pick out the easy meat
With your eyes closed
Then moving in silently, down wind and out of sight
You gotta strike when the moment is right without thinking
And after a while, you can work on points for style
Like the club tie and the firm handshake
A certain look in the eye, an easy smile
You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to
So that when they turn their backs on you
You'll get the chance to put the knife in

Just makes me think of bankers.
I feel like mobile phone cameras are getting worse.
I was looking at pictures taken on a galaxy s24 and an old s9 and huawei p20 pro.
On the new s24, everything looks oddly smeared and melted plastic like when viewing in close detail. Fine detail is lost.
It also seems to be less flexible with options to turn off all the post processing.
On the older phones, things look more natural, yes they are grainy and not as high resolution, but easier to work with in Photoshop.
Why is this?
I just can't get my head round people using any cloud services (that they don't own or manage themselves).
I keep getting pestered to share stuff to google or Microsoft, or one of a dozen supposedly private ones, but I refuse.
I know you can encrypt everything first, but its still better to buy a few hard drives and share your own files, I think anyway.
X has those "verify your age" flags all over the place now, its really annoying.
Have they done this for every country now or just EU?
I don't use X except for lurking, now that's useless, bye X/twitter
Using bitchat today, its OK, took a while to find the person sitting literally next to me, but once it did then it worked fine.
This is going to be really useful once its developed a bit more.
They say in photography "anything that doesn't add to the picture takes away from the picture".
Basically this means simplify where possible, and applies to more than just photography.
