We need a censorship resistant version of archive.org.
Somewhere we can store history and records and reality.
I see a lot about things being removed from archive.org and that's not good.
Other current alternatives are equally at risk.
I have my own collection of computer magazine scans from the 80" s and 90''s as well as store catalogs and pin up art and 50s SciFi. I also have random video documentaries about various life things.
Is there an easy way to do this? Can we have large decentralized archives?

My mission: get one person per week from one of my other sites to join nostr.
That doesn't sound a lot but I don't know that many people, but its a start.
😀😀😀
Tax is unfair.
Recently at work they told me I was getting my annual bonus. It isnt much, but I thought I would maybe take a weekend holiday somewhere nice with it.
2 weeks later when I seen my pay slip, about 40% had been stolen by tax, overall about a third of my wage had been swallowed up by tax.
And that's just before you get your money, afterwards there's more taxes, your house, purchases, savings, everything. It's a disaster.
And where does my money go? It gets wasted on things I do not approve of it being spent on. Its just thrown away to anyone and everyone, squandered.
Where it doesn't go, is benefitting me and my family and future family, my local area.
Its so annoying, if I felt that all those taxes were being spent responsibility, it wouldn't be so bad, but when you see how its eaten up by corruption and wasted on nonsense, it feels bad.
We need a better financial system.
I can honestly say, bitcoin is the most profitable thing I ever bought.
The money I invested more than doubled over the 4 or 5 years I had it.
Sure, the fees when I sold it and converted to fiat so I could bank it were painful lol, but it was still a huge win.
I wish I could go back in time and buy more.
Today I'm starting again though, so wish me luck lol, I'm back on the bitcoin wagon :)

Still the greatest film monologue ever, impossible to read without seeing it and hearing it in your head
.
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."
Roy Batty's final words in Bladerunner.
Good stuff.
Adverts on TV (and YouTube) are really useful, they are usually so obnoxious and agenda driven that they serve as a great way to show me what not to buy and what to avoid.
Well done adverts, keep it up, keep saving me money :)
"Wow you grew up in the 80's, that must have been so cool".
No, no.. It was shit.
We were poor, and everything was expensive.
Every day was another day a nuclear war might happen.
Chernobyl.
There were 3 TV channels and they all sucked.
You had to be pretty tough to survive.
On the upside, the music was good, video games and computers became a thing. You tended to have lots of friends you actually went and played with and spoke to all the time. You could do stupid things without half the world finding out about it. Best of all, most of us were blissfully unaware of just how messed up the world would become :)
