How can we create a decentralized protocol to defend ourselves from #transhumanism ? I’m all about freedom technology and am not a Luddite but I am concerned about brain chipping. Like the vaccine mandates, it’s not a stretch to imagine a future wherein the Sam Altman, Bill Gates or Klaus Schwabs of the world try to force transhuman implants in order to participate in society. Gifted my grandmother a vinyl player for Christmas after learning her old one was broken and she’d been wanting to listen to records she hadn’t listened to for years. It dawned on me sharing something so simple became meaningful. Instead of something random, I discovered something joyous I could give her. It also inspired me to dust off my record player, which had been packed away from a previous move. Call it hipster, but there is something nostalgic and intimate about the slight grit and pop of the needle running over the record and going over to flip it once you’ve enjoyed one side. With everything out there to get bogged down by, it feels incredible to be pulled into the moment by something simple, older and tactile. I can’t help but feel so many things about modern life abstract us from being present in a beautiful, even if less than perfect, experience. Corny post, but as I sit here listening to records I myself haven’t listened to in years, I’m transported to feeling of joy. So that’s the post. I have a dumb technical question for #nostr and #damus I see on my phone GBs of storage related to Damus. In an effort to free up space, I’ve wanted to clear this data but unsure of the implications. What, if anything, will I lose by freeing this Damus related data stored on my iPhone? #asknostr

It’s the last day of 2024 and good riddance. The past 4 years, truly since the lockdowns in 2019 have been absolute nonsense. Reflecting on these years, it’s clear there was a global coordinated attempted reset. “The Great Reset” if you will. Cultural Marxism aims to: 1. Demoralize 2. Destabilize. 3. Create a crisis 4. Institute a new “normal” I hope and pray Americans and truly everyone in the world has been able and will continue to be able to resist this diabolical controlled manipulation and programming. It’s evident how close this came to achieving its goal but I remain hopeful in the independent and critical thinkers I am fortunate to encounter in both #bitcoin and #nostr It has become clear to me that #freedom can only be attained through the thorough study of money. Not to say #money is the most important thing or life’s purpose, but to understand its origins, its lies, its theft and ultimately power in the forms of central banks, fiat currency and fractional reserve banking. Created to endebt and enslave you. I have never had greater conviction in Bitcoin as a true freedom technology and #decentraliztion as the keystone which continues to give gifts in the forms of nostr. As 2024 comes to a close, I smash buy one more time in this year to trade some worthless #fiat into a little more freedom going into the next year. I know I don’t post often, admittedly I’m more of a lurker, but I appreciate everyone in this space and wish you all a happy new year! GM! 🫡

None of my friends or family understand #bitcoin. I’ve tried and tried only to become a predictable and obnoxious meme at this point. Bitcoin is at ATH at still it means nothing to them. They certainly won’t be able to say I didn’t try to tell them. But it sucks to be left with the Saylor attitude of #HFSP At least my wife is covered with my stacking 🤷🏻‍♂️
