Calling self-custody "crypto-anarchism" oversimplifies what Bitcoin accomplishes. It's about freedom—freedom of speech, property rights, and protecting your right to own what's yours. We must not dismiss it because freedom isn't promised—it must be fought for and protected. As I said at the end of the clip, I love Saylor. He's a friend. This is the only free market in the world being free. In any free market, especially something as revolutionary as Bitcoin, people are going to have different views. That's not just normal, it's necessary. It's all love from me. My goal is simply to defend the principles that I believe make Bitcoin powerful: freedom and the ability for anyone to engage with it however they see fit.

Launched a new Strike Referral Program When you refer a friend to Strike and they buy bitcoin, you both get $500 (or €500) in stacking with no fees. No limits on the program. You can theoretically stack without any fees forever if you’re an orange pilling machine. Coolest part about this effort is it was driven entirely by you all. We try and be one of the most customer focused companies in the world. It’s something I realized after founding Strike: listening to customers is the most important thing anyone could be doing at all times. We wouldn’t have come up with this concept without that feedback and relationship with you all. Pretty clever to get no fees for you and your friends/family. Let me know if you have any issues or feedback. Bunch more features and products coming out over the coming weeks 🫡 image

we have always been a part of nature, governed by its immutable laws. we create and rely on complex systems—financial, social, and technological—that push us forward, but along the way, these abstractions often distance us from what is real. throughout history, these constructs have been useful, but they become unstable when they stray too far from nature’s fundamental truths. lies and illusions, no matter how sophisticated, cannot function effectively on a large scale because they aren’t grounded in reality. the further we distance ourselves from these truths, the more instability—both within ourselves and as a society. our modern-day financial systems, government, social media, and more have drifted too far from the truth. not the truth handed down by the right person, ceo, or banker, but the truth that is physical, rooted in nature, in who we are. bitcoin and nostr are part of a broader trend back to this truth, as we find our way in this new digital age. a return to something real—decentralized, unmanipulated, and aligned with the natural order—just like nature itself image

Orange pilling with Rick. We talk money, time, energy and why #Bitcoin is one of the best tools we've ever created. The harder our money, the better we are. Time and #Bitcoin are the only assets where no amount of demand can create more supply.

“time is the only currency we spend without knowing our balance” do you think our inability to know how much time we have left contributes to the pursuit of things like wealth, legacy, and meaning? if you did know your time balance, would you care less about these pursuits, or would you double down on them?
