Watched the movie Upgraded last night. It was alright, basically a Devil Wears Prada remake with a slightly different plot. More and more of those it seems - Love Wedding Repeat as an updated Four Weddings and a Funeral, Bridgerton as an updated Pride & Prejudice...even Star Wars Episode VII was basically a remake of Ep IV. I hear studios are taking fewer risks these days, but I wonder if these are actually pitched this way or if it's a little more coincidental?

Just a reminder that I am always looking for more Bitcoiners in Asia (esp E/SE Asia) to have on the podcast or just connect with to stay abreast of Bitcoin adoption in the region. Recommendations, introductions, and amplification much appreciated. It's Asia's time.

My girlfriend recently got into making sourdough bread. I never realized how similar it is to having a baby - tending to it at all times, waking up early/in the middle of the night to feed it, constantly googling whether you're raising it right...and of course getting something delicious to eat after all your hard work.

I'm finally reading Jason Lowery's Softwar. Currently on p. 288 of 400. It's dense, I probably wouldn't be getting through it without my reading buddy (we do weekly calls, 50 pages at a time), but it's amazing stuff. So many Bitcoiners I'd like to ask their opinions on the various topics, but it's probably too long for most people to read. Thinking I'll try to write a few-thousand-word summary/book report once I finish.

Two features I recently noticed on Twitter that I’d love to see on a #Nostr client - A nice friendly message when you press ‘post’ and nothing happens, ideally telling you why not or at least common reasons (like not being connected to any relays) - A warning message when you try to post something identical to what you’ve already posted - sometimes you hit the button twice out of uncertainty or clumsiness
