The hope of Resurrection
I think my soul is tired
Most Americans who reject Christianity do so not because Jesus is intolerable, but because Jesus has become intolerable to American Christians.
We have replaced Jesus Christ with a golden calf of cruel ideology that is the opposite of his teachings.
Shame on us.
We should be rejected.
We should repent.
City backyard farming! New additions to the henhouse once they are older.


Because Jesus has passed through death and returned as life itself our story cannot end in death and darkness.
Frailty will break us. Despair will overwhelm us. Death will swallow us.
…but this is cannot the end of any soul’s story because resurrection has come into the world.
Last night I had a dream that I was in a cavern in which time passes differently in each place, and I was digging to find a place where time would not pass so quickly.
I imagine this is the kind of dream one can only have in the second half of a lifetime.
You find much greater pleasure in life once you realize that a pleasurable life isn’t the goal of living…
