I love when I see people come back to Nostr after a hiatus. It’s an implicit admission that the real signal is transmitted by relays.

Amazing things happen when you start enforcing The Law…
The government’s *only* job is to enforce The Law.
The purpose of The Law is to organize for the collective defense of private property. To protect its citizens from would-be plunderers.
But our governments have become the greatest plunderers of all. They have perverted The Law.
Our governments plunder their own citizens, fail to protect our private property—again, the only reason they exist—and allow external plunders to pillage us as well.
A national that fails to protect the private property of its citizens—fails to enforce The Law—is a failed state.

I love paying for things using bitcoin. I do it frequently, and it still feels like magic every time.
what are the best freedom/privacy tech tools/services you're currently using? (whether built on nostr, bitcoin, or otherwise)
i started putting together a list of tools @jack had posted about a while ago, but want to expand it with other recommendations:
lot's of awesome stuff being built on nostr right now that i'm sure should be added, e.g. @White Noise (h/t @JeffG )
unrelated to nostr but related to not being spied on, i already have silent.link and mullvad on the list and recently used both on a new burner (paid in bitcoin for both, of course)
what else? #asknostr

ICYMI: I wrote about how anyone who hates #homeschooling is ideologically aligned with the Nazis (yes, inflammatory rhetoric, but give it a chance):
Here's a snippet:
Totalitarian regimes understood a simple truth: control the children and you control the future.
That’s why Nazis hated homeschooling. Communists hated homeschooling. Fascists hated homeschooling. Francoists hated homeschooling. Socialists hated homeschooling. Maoists hated homeschooling. Yes, there is some overlap in some of these but you get the point.
Any regime that demands absolute loyalty to the State/Party views parental education as a direct threat because it breaks the State’s monopoly on thought. Compulsory public schooling and mandatory attendance at state-approved institutions is the weapon totalitarians use to crush independent thinking and enforce ideological conformity. After all, people who think independently tend to ask a lot of questions, and one must never question The Party.

Nazis Hate Homeschooling
Homeschooling is the greatest defense we have against totalitarianism. If the State controls the children, the State controls the future.
It never ceases to amaze me how much low-IQ Bitcoin derangement syndrome persists on reddit even in the year 2026…
