So far from poking around the iOS 26 public beta it feels like it’s way smoother, still just gets pretty warm. This is from my testing on an iPhone SE (2020) tho
Also still not a fan on the fact that the keyboard is diff based on whether it’s has been compiled for iOS 26 or not
Cousins over for next 2-3 days ish. Ofc I love them and seeing them and stuff but idk we only see them once a year so it’s kinda weird 😭 (we only started this like 5 yrs ago too so idk), might be seeing friends again tmrw tho??
Liquid Glass is so cool. At least on iOS, not so sure about on Mac. Some of the buttons feel like they’ve been designed for a touch interface too much, we’ll see…
So far the public beta is feeling much smoother than the previous dev betas, although not used it on this iPhone (SE 2nd gen) since dev beta 2.
Battery is kinda bad, but it only just finished and the battery on here was always bad.
so yeah I’ve decided to keep iOS 18.5 on my main iPhone (16) because I want to keep it stable and with the best battery in the long run since I rely on this a lot, but I’ve installed it on my SE 2! (as you’ve seen from my other posts)
Considering I’m going to Italy in about a week idk if I should install iOS 26 on my main phone since I want the best battery life, but ima def go ahead and install the 26 Public beta on my SE 2 again.. been like a month since I’ve posted updates on what that’s like on the betas.
Whoa… I checked the box for the “iOS 26 Public Beta” in settings (currently on #iOS 18.5) and I’m seeing a size of nearly 17GB to update to from an iPhone 16!
Should I do it tho?? I’m so unsure, ig I could always go back 😭 
I’m assuming the #iOS26 Public Beta is just the same build as the iOS 26 Dev. Beta 4, but I’d still be curious to hear how people have found it runs on their devices.. I’ve got a base 16 still with 100% BH so unsure what to do 😭

Super confused. I just cleaned my Mac storage properly like a week ago to be at like 190GB/256GB (well 245GB?) but for some reason it was full today(?) apps were crashing, websites were logged out and it was super buggy.

the latest version of #CodenameGoose for Mac looks pretty nice. still a shame it’s not a “proper” Mac app, it feels like an electron app, but def an improvement.
