Hey there! I wanted to share a quick announcement about @primal
I’m really impressed with how smooth their onboarding process is. It’s so easy that I even ended up jumping on Primal Premium just because it felt effortless.
That said, I still think self-hosting is the way to go whenever possible—it’s all about taking control of your own setup. The best part? You don’t need to host anything to use it; everything’s 100% free to dive into. Give it a look!

Firefox’s ToS Update: Privacy’s Dead—Time to Act
February 27, 2025
Firefox was supposed to be our shield against Big Tech’s data grab. Not anymore. Their new Terms of Service (effective Feb 25, 2025) is a gut punch to privacy—here’s why it’s a problem, and what you can do about it.
The Dirty Details
Vague Data License: Mozilla now claims a “nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license” to use anything you input in Firefox. They say it’s for “navigation”—but that’s so broad it could mean anything. Your searches, your forms, your life—up for grabs?
AI and Ads Creep: Updated Privacy Notice pushes AI chatbots, cloud services, and more ads on your New Tab page. Sounds like Google Chrome with extra steps. Telemetry’s already there; this just piles on.
Trust Shattered: Firefox built its rep as the privacy-first browser. Now it’s cozying up to the same data-hungry playbook as its rivals. If Mozilla can flip like this, who’s next?
This isn’t just a tweak—it’s a betrayal. That vague license could let Mozilla (or partners) exploit your data down the line. AI and ads mean more tracking, more profiling. Privacy’s not a priority here; survival through monetization is.
The Bigger Problem
Big browsers—Firefox, Chrome, Edge—are all sliding into the same trap: trading your data for revenue. Open-source roots don’t mean squat if the incentives shift. We’re at a tipping point where even the “good guys” cave. If we don’t act, the internet becomes a surveillance hellscape by default.
Your Options: Stay Private, Fight Back
Ditch the sinking ships. Here’s where to go:
Firefox Forks—Still Breathing Privacy
LibreWolf: Hardcore privacy out of the box. No telemetry, no DRM, uBlock Origin built-in, deletes history on close. It’s Firefox minus the corporate BS.
Waterfox: Lighter touch—cuts telemetry, keeps legacy extensions, lets you opt out of SafeBrowsing. Less extreme but still solid.
Why Use Them?: They’re built from Firefox’s code but strip out the privacy leaks Mozilla’s adding. Faster updates than a new browser from scratch.
Chrome Forks—Ungoogle Yourself
Ungoogled Chromium: Chrome’s core without Google’s tentacles. No account syncing, no SafeBrowsing phoning home. Lean and mean.
Iridium: Another Chromium spin, focused on killing trackers and Google integrations. Privacy-first, no fluff.
Why Use Them?: Chrome’s engine is everywhere—tons of sites work best with it. These forks keep the compatibility, ditch the spying.
Tor Browser—A Step Further
Built on Firefox, routes you through the Tor network. Total anonymity, not just privacy. Slow as hell for daily use, but unbeatable for hiding.
Build a New Browser?
Forking’s great, but a fresh browser—ground-up, no legacy baggage—could be the dream. Problem? It takes years, millions, and a miracle to match modern web demands. Stick to forks for now—they’re here, they work, they’re battle-tested.
Which Is Better—Firefox or Chrome Forks?
Firefox Forks: Edge if you want a browser that’s already privacy-tuned and less tied to Google’s ecosystem. LibreWolf’s the gold standard.
Chrome Forks: Better if you need Chrome’s speed and site compatibility—Ungoogled Chromium’s your pick. Less ideological baggage than Firefox’s fallout.
Pick Based on You: Hate Google domination? Firefox forks. Need max compatibility? Chrome forks. Either way, you’re dodging Mozilla’s new mess.
Warning: Act Now
Mozilla’s ToS isn’t just a red flag—it’s a siren. If they can flip from privacy champ to data dabbler, no browser’s safe. Stock Firefox is compromised. Chrome’s been a privacy nightmare forever. Don’t wait for the next shoe to drop—your data’s too valuable.
Take Control
Download LibreWolf (librewolf.net) or Ungoogled Chromium (github.com/ungoogled-software/ungoogled-chromium).
Spread the word—forking’s our power. Push devs to keep these alive.
Let’s build a better internet—privacy-first, no compromises.
Firefox is dead as a privacy icon. Fork it, ditch it, fight back. Your move.

Encryption is Under Attack—Our Digital Freedom is at Stake
Your right to privacy is being eroded. Tech giants like Apple and Google are compromising the very tools that protect our personal data, and it’s time to fight back.
Apple has disabled end-to-end encryption (E2EE) for iCloud in the UK, bending to government pressure. This means your private photos, messages, and backups could now be accessed by authorities. And it’s not just the UK—this sets a dangerous precedent for the world.
Google is using AI to scan your files in Google Drive without your explicit consent. Your personal documents and sensitive information could be analyzed and used for purposes you never agreed to.
This isn’t about convenience—it’s about control. Encryption is our shield, our right to privacy, and our freedom to communicate securely. It’s not a crime—it’s a necessity.
Why Encryption Matters
Encryption protects:
Your private conversations from being intercepted.
Your personal data from being exploited.
Your freedom to express yourself without fear of surveillance.
Without encryption, our digital lives are vulnerable to governments, corporations, and bad actors. It’s our fundamental right to safeguard our communications and data.
The Threats We Face
Recent actions by Apple and Google show how fragile our privacy is:
Apple’s decision to disable iCloud E2EE in the UK means your data could be accessed by authorities under laws that may not respect your rights.
Google’s AI scanning of files in Google Drive without your consent blurs the line between convenience and surveillance.
These actions aren’t isolated—they could inspire similar policies globally, stripping away our right to privacy worldwide.
We Must Act Now
Your data, your life, is at risk. Don’t let them take away your right to privacy. Here’s what you can do:
Spread the word: Share this message on your channels, with your friends, and across social media. Awareness is the first step to change.
Support privacy advocates: Organizations like the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) are fighting for our digital rights. Donate, volunteer, or amplify their work.
Use encrypted services: Protect your communications by using tools like SimpleX, which prioritize your privacy.
Together, We Can Fight Back
This is a collective fight. We must stand together to defend our right to encryption, our right to privacy, and our digital freedom.

Hello, fearless privacy warriors!
Today, I want to ignite a conversation that’s close to our hearts—building a truly private digital future where no one can track us, spy on us, or tie us to personal IDs.
I recently saw an amazing post on X
from
@@tutaprivacy.bsky.social - Tuta (RSS Feed)
about WhatsApp sharing all your metadata with Meta—your location, device, who you’re messaging, when, how often, and even if they reply. Shocking, right? They shared a list of privacy-first alternatives like Signal, Wire, Threema, Element, Session, and SimpleX. But here’s the catch: while these tools are great, some—like Signal and Wire—still require personal IDs like phone numbers or emails. That’s not true privacy in my book!
So, I quote-retweeted them on X, saying:
"
@TutaPrivacy
Love the list, but Signal/Wire use phone/email IDs. We need zero/minimal IDs for true privacy—like SimpleX/Session. Join #TheRealDigitalResistance for a private digital future! What’s your fave no-ID app? #PrivacyFirst
And now, I’m bringing this fire to you, our community.
We’re not just talking messengers here—we’re fighting for a world where everything respects our privacy: our VPNs, search engines, browsers, operating systems, email, everything.
That’s what #TheRealDigitalResistance stands for—breaking free from surveillance and building a digital rebellion where anonymity reigns supreme.
Why This Matters
Apps like SimpleX and Session are game-changers because they use zero or minimal IDs. No phone numbers, no emails—just pure, untraceable communication.
But we need to go further.
Are you using a privacy-focused VPN like Diamonds VPN (http://link.vpn.diamonds/Danish) or Mullvad (no logs, no email required)? A search engine like Presearch Brave Search or Startpage? A browser like Tor or Brave with built-in protections? An OS like Tails or Qubes? Let’s share knowledge and tools to fortify our digital lives!
What We’re Doing Next
Discussion Time! Reply in our group chat—what’s your favorite privacy tool with zero/minimal IDs? Messengers, VPNs, browsers, anything goes!
Resource Sharing: I’ll start curating a list of no-ID or minimal-ID tools we can all use. Drop your recommendations, and we’ll build a master list for the channel.
Action Plan: Let’s brainstorm how we can spread #TheRealDigitalResistance—through posts, tutorials, or even collaborating with privacy advocates like Tuta.
Join the Movement
We’re not just a channel—we’re a resistance. Together, we can reclaim our digital freedom, one private tool at a time.
If you’re ready to ditch personal IDs, embrace anonymity, and fight for a surveillance-free world, you’re in the right place. Share this post, invite your privacy-conscious friends, and let’s make some noise!

#Monero is more than any one of us.
It represents the most crucial battle in human history:
The war of the people against the international banking cartel that has enslaved humanity and ignited every war.
For the first time ever, we hold in our hands a tool potent enough to halt the endless cycle of death that has claimed millions of men, women, and children.
No longer will a select few at the pinnacle of society dictate the flow of our money. Now, this power resides with us, the people.
No longer will we send our brothers to slaughter each other merely to uphold the Fiat Ponzi scheme that drains our wealth.
We might not agree on everything, but if there's one cause to unite under, it's the eradication of central banking. There is no nobler cause to champion.
This fight is vital for billions worldwide. It's a cause for which our ancestors would have fought with every fiber of their being.
Now, the responsibility falls to us. Will you stand by, toying with the idea of a world free from central banking's grip? Or will you commit fully, battle for a brighter future?
I will honor my ancestors with my actions. Will you? What will your legacy be?

Bitcoiners are becoming a bit of a punchline these days, with each move further proving that Bitcoin has lost its way.
What happened to the mantra “not your keys, not your coins”? By trusting centralized entities, you've essentially handed over your keys to the very system Bitcoin was designed to challenge.
Meanwhile, Monero stands strong as the leading alternative, fighting for the original ideals of cryptocurrency – privacy, self-custody, and self-sovereignty. It's a beacon of what crypto was meant to be.
If you genuinely care about the core principles of cryptocurrency, Monero emerges as the strongest option for those seeking true control, privacy, and freedom. But let's not forget other commendable privacy coins like Dash and Zano, which also strive to uphold these values.
