In our relentless pursuit of efficiency, humanity often risks stripping away the very essence that makes life truly vibrant. Yet, against this dulling of existence, we find form expression and art. At first glance, Logic and Art may seem like opposing forces, but consider their most profound manifestation—Language. It is through Language that imagination takes flight, or conversely, is reduced to mere function, leaving no room for nuance, no space for the unspoken. How do you wield this powerful tool? Do you recognize its depth? Handle it with care, for within Language lies the soul of our collective humanity. image
I completely agree. For those who have tried living completely on a bitcoin standard quickly understand that you cannot diamond hand. Bills will not wait for your high time preference. You need to pay for utilities, food, and other needs and that will force you to spend your bitcoin. Ive been living on a 75% bitcoin standard for 6 mobths now and Ihave been forced to spend when some emergency bills come up. I always look to spend with people who accept bitcoin in irder to support a circular economy but that is still very new for a lot of businesses. — This is a comment on: https://yakihonne.com/flash-news/nevent1qqpkypfkqgsfm55rkx7ua2x2ky9ghjsazemlwyta86rsjzsm6squlvsle7dkh6crqsqqqqqpqq7nxc
In today's age it's tough to give our relationships the undivided attention needed to help strengthen them. As parents, our relationship with our children is literally life altering. Great post!
Once a year US Army reservists conduct an annual training to refamiliarize themselves with a combat environment. Everytime I attend my trainings I remember the times when I was in active duty and small bits of nostalgia creep through. This morning I was on a mission that departed early in the morning. I had to use night vision goggles while driving through heavy woods. As I drove millions of bright specs shine in the night sky between the branches of canopy above. There's not many jobs where you work so intimately within nature, blending in, becoming one with the darkness.
I loved warframe. spent hours playing it with my cousins. when I played back in 2014ish It felt like an online arcade from the early 2000s there was an eerie loneliness to it. With my cousins in tow we discovered the different crooks and crannies of the "universe" and aspired to get new skins, guns, and level up for new abilities. The crafting aspect is barnone, it was awesome. but... like any microtransaction game if you dobt pay up you better play up. — This is a comment on: https://yakihonne.com/flash-news/
image "Fill your bowl to the brim and it will spill. Keep sharpening your knife and it will blunt. Chase after money and security and your heart will never unclench. Care about people's approval and you will be their prisoner. Do your work, then step back. The only path to serenity." -Laozi - Tao Te Ching Laozi did not believe that was an inherent good or evil attribute to natural phenomena but rather that their existence required balance. This concept helped me understand the importance of taking time to be with my wife and kids but also not resent leaving them for work. Both go hand in hand. The better I work to bring a good income to my home the more quality time I can spend with my family when I’m with them. It's easy to get wrapped up in the idea that more time is always better when its the quality of that time that really matters. None of that is possible without the balance of action between work and leisure.
