I wish I could find the person who first peddled the idea that humans are either left brained or right brained. Iβd slap them for making it seem like I must be one or the other.
Creative or Logical.
I wake up everyday, early in the morning to write. Some mornings my logical brain wants to crunch numbers, iron out a plan, solve a problem.
Other mornings my soul takes over my fingers and lets things arrive from nothing.
I donβt get to decide when Iβm creative or logical.

"Such possibilities notwithstanding, surely the most momentous consequence of the new digital currency will be the end of inflation and the deleverage of the financial system"
- Sovereign Individual 1997
Truly astonishing how the chapter on "cyber economy" quite literally describes bitcoin and AI agents.
Looks like the ai circle curfafle is unraveling in the stock market
Reading the Sovereignty Individual and having conversations with my cousin who is american and lives in Japan made me realize a pattern.
I live and work in America so I make my salary in dollars.
Vs my cousin who lives and works in Japan so he makes Yen.
Flip that and you see the pattern. Fiat is by decree of a sovereign.
I earn my money by decree of the United States.
My cousin by decree of Japan.
Earn in bitcoin and under what sovereignty do you lie?
Your own.
The heresy, the defiance in Victor Frankenstein's efforts to stitch together the limbs of the dead portrayed beautifully in Guillermo Del Toro's movie draws an uncanny parallel to today's tech elite stitching together the dead internet to give us AI.
We lean forward mesmerized by its whisper, believing it better than our own.
We've forked over handfuls of money seeking greater productivity and receive in return a monstrous pirouette of disjointed movements.
Those who've purchased shares have profited mightily, even as circular capital injections keep this monster alive.
The story of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein has been with us since 1818. It has been butchered and adapted like a mirror reflection of the monster in the story for over a century.
Guillermo Del Toro has been trying to make his faithful adaptation for 20 years.
We now have a Frankenstein movie for this era, when its most desperately needed.

Lol, all my posts are showing as my very first profile name and pic. Crazy, it must be some relay I haven't used in a long time feeding the network.
I know there isn't much conversation about Fedi on NOSTR but I just ran a test transaction between my cashapp and a random fedi community wallet and it worked even though 1 of the 4 guardians were down.
I like the fact that ecash can be sent even without internet and a federated mint can be made resilient by having guardians run different set ups to ensure uptime.
Now with the new randomized guardian collection mechanism that Fedi implemented you can imagine a switch board like mechanism being used to ensure maximum uptime.
My question is, couldnt we do something similar with NOSTR. Just make it like one giant fedimint community. I mean thats kind of what it is already right?
What are the technical requirements to meet with this framework?
Anthropic was just used by Chinese state-sponsored hackers to conduct an espionage campaign on over 30 Organizations world wide.
They literally just role played with claude telling it they were performing a legitimate defensive security test for a cyber security firm.
Its not the first time role play has been used to conduct prompt injections on AI models. We can't expect it to be the last.
Perhaps the biggest narrative in the bitcoin space this year, even bigger than treasury companies, was "dont spend your bitcoin, take out a loan and spend fiat".
I think that's unraveling now.
Funny enough this will shake out the over levered and teach everyone a valuable lesson, spend bitcoin.
Earn in bitcoin, spend in bitcoin. This is the only way you dont get shaken out and keep exposure to the greatest asset known to humanity.
Imagine what humans from different eras of history would think about the sheer amount of data almost everyone today carries with them.
Ancient times: writing was for the elites, the average person had to compress complex ideas into poems and songs. Often the true data would never be unzipped once compressed as poems and songs became epics and myths. The line of reality blurred
Early industrial: writing en masses was still reserved for the elites or those who were granted access to the printing press via elite gate keepers.
The average person relied on pen and paper. Paper decays. Ideas with a lifespan.
Today: we carry snapshots and videos of our everyday lives. We jot notes in our phones to never be seen again. Terabytes of ideas are uploaded to corporate databases. Ideas live forever and breath life into artificial intelligence.
These are the things we carry. The people before us would have killed for the opportunity most people today squander.
What nostr extension do you guys find is the most secure to use for connecting to fountain and other websites?
"Specialists in violence, the forefathers of government, increasingly devoted themselves to plunder and protection from plunder. Along with the priests, they became the first wealthy persons in history"
- The Sovereign Individual
Look to history to show what lies at the heart of government when left to its own devices.
Crazy how so many people dont get what the concept of ownership means.
They get it in physical space, but in digital space, man, people just give ownership away..
βAI will probably most likely lead to the end of the world, but in the meantime, thereβll be great companies.β
Sam Altman said AI might lead to the end of the world, yet he is building it anyway.
No one is debating whether to build superintelligence anymore. America is racing to do it first.
The only question left is: what world are rushing to build?

Coinbase is doing it, in sure cashapp could do it better!

"Make your AI bed"
- Jordi Visser
Great advice
How many gigs of data does your average American have?
I was wondered.
Naturally, I asked the greatest data thieves in existence, the AI.
The response was:
Gemini: "The average American stores about 500GB of data in personal cloud storage, with photos and images accounting for the largest portion at 46%. Other types of data, such as text documents, take up 129GB, while music and audio files make up the remaining 6%."
We "store" this hoping it doesn't one day disappear.
How many countless family memories lie in an Instagram profile when once people held them in cherished albums relentlessly protected?
