Ruins, the remains of a building, city, etc., that has been destroyed or that is in disrepair or a state of decay. People from all over the world, mostly tourists go to see famous ruins. Like the Colloseum in Rome, or the famous temples built by the Maya’s in Mexico, or the remains of the City of Pompeii, that got destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius. All these things were something beautiful at one point. At this day, they’re still beautiful to see and they’re mostly tourist attractions. I visited what can be called the remains of the Satoshi Nakamoto Statue in Lugano. This used to be something beautiful at one point in time, but today… not so much 😔. First we had the body positivity movement, and bodyshaming was bad. It was “okay” to be a bit overweight. Next up, about one year later, mainstream media covers stories on Ozempic, a weight-loss drug. And suddenly you see celebrities that were overweight, or even slightly obese, return to having a “normal” weight. All promoting Ozempic and what not… Probably nothing to worry about.

Upon returning from Lugano, we were talking about #bitcoin which was nice 😄 Mostly the usual stuff “why does it have that value?” “How and why was it made?” “How does it work?” I knew the answers to these questions, but one thing I didn’t really know. She asked me “what it it’s made by someone with bad intentions? That person is now technically the richest person on earth. What if he has bad intentions?” I admit, I have seen some answers to this, the fact that it doesn’t really matter who created it and what not. But still… it intrigued me… what if it’s someone with bad intentions? Any answers to this? #asknostr
