You don't actually own your nostr account if you rely on other people's relays. Damus is a good example on how someone can nuke your data (jb aint doing it for that) but justa good example. You don't host your own relay you don't own your profiles content. Your just trusting another person computer....
Just cause your on nostr doesn't mean there aren't echo chambers of people echoing the same shit over and over.
Good morning. I want to build a lightning payment based arcade.
Alot has changed in these past four years. I started out paying for one of those defi courses to learn shit coins. I made out during the scams and bs returns era cause I was a pain in the ass. I was lucky to get out before most the rugs but did lose a bit.
I then found most of the shit coin shit boring so went to gambling with them because I was bored. I also made a okay amount on that but ran through quarter a mil cause I had no emotional attachment to the money or wins. I ended up seeing how much money I was wasting on gambling. So I sat down and looked back on what the true principles of what I was trying to do were. I came back to bitcoin and it opened my eyes.
The maxi toxic mentality aside, it opened my eyes to the value of sound money. Not only is it sound money its real value is the ability to give others that value. Bitcoin has helped me understand the true value of money and the power it brings to you.
So in my closing conclusions, bitcoin has done alot for me. It has helped me better myself (health, wealth, and hapiness) and also educated me. This has allowed me to educate others and gain confidence in understanding life. Thanks if you read this far, stay humble and stack sats plebs.
Just wanted to say, dont forget that politicians will usually say what the people want to hear and then drop it after they get your votes. Very few are held accountable or even execute on their promises.
Third world countries are adopting technology faster than and major countries had before. When you dont have to innovate and just have to learn and adopt the new tech it sets you up for faster adoption and ingenuity. Very excited to see how Africa does as time goes on. Alot of options for them as long as the people are allowed to grow and aspire to do more for there communities. Probably will see most the innovation come from other countries as they use modern technologies to solve there problems. Just the fact you can start from scratch and use the best technologies we know of right now is huge.
