@Liana Wallet can launch the current best in class Bitcoin wallet with a pruned node that requires minimal storage space with a single click. No trying to separately install, manage, and connect a node or electrum server yourself. People claiming this is not possible are living in the BTC equivalent of the Stone Age. Go out and touch grass.

GM! A tough spicy truth: Mac desktop is by far the best place for Bitcoin despite sadly being closed source. For a large BTC stack you really want the extra real estate of a desktop sized screen. Windows has become KYC-ed spyware and insecure af. Linux is open source and fun but typically has the worst support and most unstable apps, you will commonly run into UX issues and bugs not present in the comparable Windows and Mac apps . Mac is the most secure and stable option. Hopefully this changes, but it’s the hard truth for now.

GM! Is it really sovereign self custody if you have a hard dependency on an outside company and 99.9% of users will never understand or even try the non-standard exit system? You’re better than that, it’s not hard. Take an hour, watch a @BTC Sessions video, put your seed in steel, and do a service for your family.

The BTC self custody setup you want when you are alive and have your full mental faculties is wildly different than the setup you want after you die or have a traumatic brain injury and your family needs to inherit you coins. This is the amazing super power of timelocks.

GM! Cloud backups are just saving your BTC to someone else’s computer and hoping they will let you access it in an emergency. I don’t want my stack to live and die by the good graces of Google and Apple.
