Okay so monster hunter is so fun but I think I just figured out why I like it so much? So I used to be a wildlife bio major and had dreams of being a researcher working in conservation out in the field or a park ranger doing community outreach specifically to teach kids about the natural world. Unfortunately I had to drop out due to health issues and then a chronic pain disorder hit and basically there's no way I'd be able to physically handle either job. All this to say, I love animals and I love learning about the natural world. So when presented with a game like MHWorld where conservation and preservation are the forefront of the story's focus I was so glad! And the designs of the monsters are FANTASTIC, which helps. I always captured instead of slaying in World and the game rewards you with higher drop rates for doing so. It's just so cool! Here is a game series with a title like Monster Hunter, but really it's about more than hunting. I dunno. Felt like monster posting.

Ugh I just want to play games and make art but I have to do dumb things like HOMEWORK and SLEEP.

Soothing the pacing animal in your brain means doing things that are hard. You have to do math. You have to read. Pick up a hobby that doesn't come easily to you. You can't just take the easy route all the time and expect fulfillment from that.

I think getting a pimple right where the bridge of your glasses meets your nose should make you receive a billion dollar payout. No I will not negotiate.
