Europe's EMEA recommends to refuse Leqembi, Eisai's "anti-Alzheimer's" antibody. It's approved by the FDA in the US. I think the EMEA is making the right call. The clinical data and modest improvements (if any) are really not convincing imo.

I feel I conceptually understand both the rational and the criticism around Order 6102. What I don't understand and cannot find a lot of information about is if there were alternative solutions discussed back then to fix the problem that go beyond "let it blow up and it'll fix itself ". because even if this is a workable solution, it is not an "electable" solution. what would have been alternative ways to tackle the problem back then that did not lead to confiscation? Were any of these alternatives tried out successfully in other nations in history? I think the best way to avoid a similar future for bitcoin in the U.S. would be to present and lobby for those alternative solutions right now so that when shit hits the fan in terms of US debt and waning influence of the dollar (which it will), the alternative solutions have widespread support in congress. #bitcoin #order6102 @LynAlden @preston @Odell @saifedean

Ok,so I have just learned about BIP85 and its use case for "child seeds". This seems to me like a really convenient way, even without multisig, to provide/generate multiple wallets for friends or relatives that don't have much bitcoin knowledge and alleviate the fear of losing their seed. Am I missing any disadvantages here?
