This. Arguably, bitcoin has more culture than nostr, we have a pizza day, whitepaper day, genesis block day.
Why no nostr day? However much has been accomplished needs to be celebrated, we've fallen behind in this department IMO, which is weird since this is supposed to be a social thing!

Election Commissioner of the Nostr, Authored NIP-88 (polls), Made formstr.app , pollerama.fun, NRPC and other cool nostr things. Truth is non-negotiable.
AIs need to be trained to face the consequences of their actions.
Client Devs: new account generation shouldn't be a 2 page form it should just be a click and there's your nsec. That's like one of the most important things about nostr.

I do not recognize that "nips" repository to have any kind of "official" standing. It is not nostr.
Tbh, I love the transparent ledger aspect of bitcoin, it makes i t harder for certain use cases for sure, but it also makes it the most honest currency in existence.
Not saying you should do this, but it would be pretty funny if you did 🤣

Once you go full nostr, there's no going back.
You'll never be able to not feel disgusted anytime someone wants you to mandatorily put your phone number in, or take a selfie just to be able to access their apps, especially when you know there exists a world where your entire existence is mapped to only a string of letters, and any information you chose to reveal is what you explicitly decided was okay.
It's crazy to me that both these worlds exist at the same time, and I'm going to try and make sure my time and effort goes into building the one where our existence is worth more than cattle raised for slaughter.
Never ask for (as a service provider) or give away(as a consumer) any more information than is needed to render the service

Pollerama 1.8.8 is out on zapstore! With a major focus on notification grouping.

Making stupid rules is bad. Following stupid rules is worse.
Tech reviewers are not your friends be very wary of them
Nobody knows what "nostr is" but everybody likes to pretend like they do.
Thats why I never tag events with a client tag 🤣
