Sitting out in the sun today, and it’s around 68°, overlooking the water. I was by myself, no shirt, no shoes, just soaking it in. Meditating here and there. A girl came up and asked if she could sit next to me. I said of course - I’m always down to talk about life and whatever comes up. We ended up talking about psychedelics, especially DMT. She started sharing some of her experiences, pretty openly. At one point she mentioned she was living in a housing community for people recovering from addiction. I didn’t even realize there was something like that around here. She said it could be tough, but they’d let her come out to the park today. As we were talking, someone who works there came over and told her she needed to go back - that this wasn’t the park she was supposed to be in. I didn’t care for that too much. It felt like the conversation could’ve gone somewhere meaningful for her. She seemed genuinely engaged, and who knows what a simple exchange might spark. It just reminded me how many people out there are quietly suffering. And sometimes, the simplest things - being seen, being heard, having a real conversation - might be more healing than we give them credit for.

Update: The woman at the counter came up to me as I was leaving and mentioned that they were having a meeting later and she is going to bring up bitcoin for the POS. Stopped by the local coffee shop again. Asked about if they accept #bitcoin payments yet on their square. They’re still figuring it out. She said her dad is all about bitcoin as well so they’re still figuring it out. Having trouble enabling it in the retail mode still… So so close. Come on guys
