Beautiful day for a swim

Today was really fun. I photographed a wedding with my sister, which was the first time we’d really done something like this together. We ended up bonding quite a bit throughout the day, which was really nice and honestly, quite needed.

Had a photo shoot today with a really awesome woman, and we ended up talking about all sorts of things, including Bitcoin. I asked her where she was in her Bitcoin journey, and she told me she’d been curious about it a few years ago but never got into it because she didn’t know how to mine Bitcoin. I thought that was interesting. She didn’t realize you don’t have to mine Bitcoin to acquire it. You can buy it, earn it, or accept it as payment. I’d never heard that as a reason for someone not getting into Bitcoin before. Has anyone else? She was really fascinated once we talked more about how it works and how to get started. Now she wants to sit down with me another time so I can walk her through it in more detail.

Had yet another beach day. As fall approaches I try to get out in the sun as much as I can. The day was particularly beautiful, sunny, perfect temperature. Water was a bit chilly, but I didn't mind. You can tell when someone might not be metabolically well when you suggest something as simple as not eating dinner in front of the TV, and their immediate response is to push back against the idea rather than consider it.

Decided to take a trip to the beach yesterday after the hurricane came through the area. Thankfully it wasn't much of anything here, just a bit of rain and wind. Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day. The waves were quite large, so it was fun to do a bit of body surfing. There were a number of fritillaries pollinating the flowers along the dunes. I've never seen anything like it before. Probably hundreds of them. Shot with my Leica M262 / edited in Lightroom. #photography #noicemag
