In 2017 I first heard of Bitcoin from my eldest son. I saw it as a risky investment, but bought a couple of family satoshis to appease (shut up?!) said son. I didn’t make the time to look more deeply. In 2021, after intensive reading, listening and learning (thank you pandemic - you gave me the necessary time to study - and opened my eyes to system overreach), the penny dropped. I learnt that the current financial system is designed to bring financial misery and enslavement to the masses, and tremendous wealth to a very select few. I learnt that Bitcoin is a potential life raft for humanity - a peer-to-peer technology that allows us to take back control of our time and energy, to escape the hamster wheel and to relearn the importance of self-responsibility. My journey since this epiphany has been nothing short of momentous. After ‘understanding’ Bitcoin, I knew that I wanted to invest my time and energy in bringing awareness of this new technology to as wide an audience as possible. Why? Because I want a sustainable, healthy and prosperous future for my nearest and dearest. Because the more people who find a place on the Bitcoin life raft, the better for humanity. Never would I have believed that at the ripe old age of 53 - after a quarter of a century spent mainly bringing up my children and supporting my husband’s career - that my life would take such a turn. In 2022 we (a small group of female Bitcoiners) founded @Les Femmes Orange - a rapidly growing movement providing bitcoin education made (mostly) by women. Decentralized. Peer to peer. I am part of the founding team of @Terahash.space - a German start up bringing Bitcoin hashrate (and orange hope!) to Germany and Europe. I am part of the founding team and Board Chair of the @Ebea.work - with the mission to educate publicly and privately on the potentials of Bitcoin mining for Europe’s energy infrastructure. I have spoken on numerous podcasts, in interviews and on stages - to try to build a bridge from the current flawed system to the next vastly improved system. Initially I was hesitant to speak in public. What do I know? Why should people listen to me? I’m ’just a mum’. I don’t ‘get’ Bitcoin on a deeply technological level. In the meantime I have learnt the importance of my ‘mother’s’ voice. I want my children and potential grandchildren’s future to be sustainable, full of hope, optimism and possibilities. I believe Bitcoin is the only chance we currently have to achieve this. Bitcoin changes you and shows you what is truly important in life. (Hint: it ain’t a ‘career’!) I was delighted to take part recently in a Fairtalk panel on the subject. Be careful. Understanding Bitcoin is life changing. Are you ready for a bumpy ride?

Creating and running a loving, nurturing, welcoming home for you and your loved ones - providing a harmonious refuge where heart, mind and soul can be nourished, dreams can be encouraged and fears can be shared - is as valuable as bringing home the bacon. It will be a wealthy, harmonious and sustainable community that recognizes and rewards both.

Decentralized. Peer to peer. That’s a life worth living.

What I love most about my ‘work’ with @Terahash.space , @Ebea.work and @Les Femmes Orange is that so many awesome bitcoiners from all corners of Europe (and beyond) get in touch to tell me about an awesome bitcoin-related idea they have. Sometimes they just need a sounding board. A word of encouragement. A cheer-leader. A mum’s ear! More often than not, I can connect them further. Networks are everything. So are human connections. Bringing the right people together allows magic to happen. Bitcoin has taught me that I’m really good at this. And not so long ago, I would never have been able to even say this sentence, let alone write it on a public forum! Recognizing my own ‘financial’ value is an enormous step for me, a long-term full-time mother who brought up my children in a society that does not value motherhood. A society that does not value the truly feminine. So thank you, @Bitcoin And thank you @Markus, for supporting our wonderful family so whole-heartedly and generously to make full-time motherhood possible. And thank you @Heiner, for your endless patience, encouragement and love which have allowed me to face and overcome my many ‘Messer im Bauch’! Hearing about all these awesome European Bitcoin projects makes my heart sing. There is SO much going on underneath the surface in Europe. We, the people, are building the new Europe. One awesome, faltering step at a time. Sometimes we may stumble. Sometimes we may fall. Sometimes we may head off in the wrong direction. But we will always get up, dust off, redirect and step forward again. It’s not the governments. Not the politicians. Not the regulators. Not the companies. It’s we, the people. When we work together, truly work together, when we bring together the masculine and the feminine in beautiful, powerful harmony, when we recognize what we each bring to the table, we will create magic. We, the people … The future is orange.

Life is wonderful. What a time to be alive.

I don’t believe women need to be ‘empowered’. Simply being a woman is powerful enough. We’ve just largely forgotten how to be in our feminine energy. And society has forgotten how truly valuable feminine energy is. When women are not in their feminine energy, men can not be in their masculine energy and then everyone suffers. It’s up to us, women.

Stop feeding the system with your time and energy. Use them to feed your soul and the souls of your loved ones instead. You will be way healthier and happier.
