I love my stage of life. It's finally my turn to choose what/who gets my time and energy. Feeling grateful.

As long as I skip @markusturm's posts (no easy task, cos they are so often nail/head), my nostr feed is my daily balm to the soul.

I know fuck all. And that's OK.

Next on the reading list. Why are there so few female geniuses (genii?!) who have influenced/shaped the world? And what personality traits does it take to be one?

Beautiful time of day

If we believe that we can be 'the mother' to children under the age of three and simultaneously have a full time job, we are wrong. Babies and toddlers have no concept of 'quality time', even if we women have been persuaded to believe otherwise.

The most far-reaching decision you will ever make is the partner you select to have your children with. Parenthood. Till death do you part. Choose wisely.

I would hate to work at something I don't take personal pride in. However much I'm paid. Because prideless work is soul destroying. I have never had to do any work in my life which I was not proud of. And that includes the many hours of babysitting, waitressing, hotel house-keeping and supermarket shelf-filling jobs of my youth. Because I've never had to spend my time and energy on a bullshit job. Eternally grateful for this.

We will see a glorious rise in real craftsmanship.

"Emotional maturity is being able to have the difficult conversations." This sentence sent my body in to spasm. Which means nail on head. Well in to my 50s and still so often emotionally in my 00s. There's still so much work to do. You never stop learning. Life is beautiful like that.
