These new images are, quietly, asserting themselves as the beginnings of a series… I imagined and thought about them simply as ‘dust’ - literally, and in recognition of both their greyscale and immediate nature… All I know about them so far, is that they have no colour, and no enhancement. I do seem to have starting a new series of photo works - informal moments, in this case captured in monochrome… No colour, no enhancement. Photographed not generated. All original and mine, just seen and captured… I’m labelling and thinking about them as ‘dust’ - at least for now.
