I will never take on the mantle of bitcoin psychopath. What a stupid thing to attribute to ourselves.
When I first got into Bitcoin I met a guy who got in pretty damn early in bitcoin, and he orange pilled me pretty early into my journey. One day I told him “Oh my god this community is amazing!! Everyone is focused on building things, fixing problems, marriage and having kids, philosophy, privacy… this is incredible!” He paused for a length of time, and then quietly told me “Be careful. Watch out for the psychopaths.” It was sobering, the seriousness he said it with. It has also proven to be incredibly helpful advice.
I pass this advice on to you. Especially if you are new.
The good things I saw are here. But he is right too. Bitcoin is like churches: naive innocent good people, and the psychopaths there to prey on them.
You will meet psychopaths here. Riches and good prey draw them in. And some are hard to see at first. So, pay attention and don’t dismiss what you see. They may be a minority, but because destruction is easier than building, they have an outsized effect.
So knowing that “here be monsters”, enjoy the adventure. It’ll be a good one.

Soft as a knife.
Self custody incentivizes node running. If little people cannot self custody, how will you incentivize node running?
The Blocksize Wars was to ensure the little people could continue to run #bitcoin nodes.
If self-custody does not scale to little people, little people will have no incentive to run nodes. They will let the custodians do it for them.
Little folk running nodes is most important.
So. The moon tonight. Highly recommend you get a peek at it.
Angry body, peaceful mind.
Martial arts are wonderful.
To be honest, many times in bitcoin, I have seen that sex workers are the canaries in the coal mine.
Anyway, can someone more educated on this topic tell me if this relay/IP thing is a thing to be concerned about?
