Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the PEACEMAKERS: for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Libertarian before COVID, now Anarcho-Capitalist. Bitcoin class of 2017.
Many have probably already seen Efrat Fenigson’s clips. Here’s a long form interview with her on the Hamas attack. (Yes Bret is a leftie, but he is critical of government).
My heart bleeds for the children and people of Gaza today.
It’s hard to live knowing what is going on, but it’s also feels ignorant to not know what’s going on.
We must build a better future. May God show us how.

It’s that time of year again (when a new crisis hits) where it’s best to not open Twitter for a while.
Just watched this episode on adoption in Cuba. Something that was brought up was the government shutting down the Internet and Bitcoin stops working. This drives home something I've been thinking about a lot. We need a future where our local circular economies (Bitcoin Beach, Bitcoin Jungle, etc) can continue to exist even if the internet is down for a week or two. While the ultimate solution might be some sort of satellite uplink, this could be where using a custodial provider local to the circular economy could have an advantage. Payments within users (for example within Bitcoin Jungle) could keep paying if we could come up with a WiFi distribution for example on markets. In the future this custodian could be a shared custodian using Fedimint, the importance being able to keep remitting on the node even without the rest of the internet.

I'm looking to hop over to El Salvador for a few days, somewhere between end of October to mid November. Would like to get to know some other expat families that have decided to move there and of course meet the local Bitcoin community.
Can someone plug me in?
@njelsalvador ?
All the Truthers on Twitter are going nuts over 9/23. I'm not going to take any chances and just took the last of my BTC into cold storage.
“We were told by Hobbes that war is the natural state of man (Hobbes’ patrons were “nobles”). But is war natural and inevitable? How did humanity survive? Think about it. Did humans survive by killing each other? It is oxymoronic! War is aberrant. 100% of human survival is based on cooperation. You cannot survive alone. You depend on everyone else, and everything else. That is sanity. That is reality.”
“All organizations promoting war are criminal organizations. The people behind them are mass murderers. The men and women orchestrating chaos in country after country are criminals of the worst kind. The people following orders are not heroes; they are criminals.”

Anyone still holding any sort of security, or any form of debt, should read "The Great Taking", a book released in June 2023.
- the book is available for free on the website
It's written by a former Hedge Fund manager and does a deep dive on how all collateral will be swept up when the great crash happens. He quotes all the laws and regulations that make this possible so anyone can cross reference. This is way bigger than just money printing. Here's a quote from the book:
“What is this book about? It is about the taking of collateral, all of it, the end game of this globally synchronous debt accumulation super cycle. This is being executed by long-planned, intelligent design, the audacity and scope of which is difficult for the mind to encompass. Included are all financial assets, all money on deposit at banks, all stocks and bonds, and hence, all underlying property of all public corporations, including all inventories, plant and equipment, land, mineral deposits, inventions and intellectual property. Privately owned personal and real property financed with any amount of debt will be similarly taken, as will the assets of privately owned businesses, which have been financed with debt. If even partially successful, this will be the greatest conquest and subjugation in world history.”
