Majority for chat control possible – Users who refuse scanning to be prevented from sharing photos and links
The highly controversial indiscriminate child sexual abuse regulation (so-called chat control) could still be endorsed by EU governments after all,...
Things I totally do not understand but I know other people appreciate: sodastream.
Is there a way for clients post as someone without having the account's secret #Nostr key? Perhaps using some kind of derivative key that can be revoked?
I'm writing a client and I really do not want to store NSECs 😐
For example #Bluesky and #Mastodon allow one to generate an API key for such use cases.
I know Nostr works totally different. Just curious if I'm overlooking something. @Vitor Pamplona?
I wonder how much web3 hate comes from web2 incumbents, because a lot of work is being done on storing identity, value and relations outside of the traditional silos.
Shout out to Bill Hicks who died on this day 30 fucking years ago already! Still as relevant as ever.
Check him out if you've never heard of him. #BillHicks
I really do not understand how people can code on a smallish (<17 inch) laptop screen... I absolutely hate it.

Given how well editing posts works on Mastodon I don't understand why more social media platforms do not support it.
Test post from MulTiPos to Bluesky, Mastodon, Nostr, Warpcast and Twitter.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... XML to RTF converters written in XSLT... I've watched JBoss instructions inside comments being evaluated by the Eclipse IDE. All that code eaten by Enterprise, like monkey jpegs on a blockchain... Time to die.
Nope. #Monero

Isn't a passkey just a really long password that you store everywhere?
I've updated my website for the first time in 10+ years 😅
Mostly just ran it through a Hugo theme, but still...
I've been writing a little more this last year, so here we are...

I hope software-as-a-service (SAAS) and the walled gardens will be seen as the Dark Ages of our Digital Age.
Ooooh, Lemmy has SystemD discussions!
